MedicOne Implements State-of-the-Art Communications Center

MedicOne Medical Response has recently added a state-of-the-art communications and dispatch system.  The heart of our network is a computer assisted dispatch (CAD) system, built around a master database that combines data including location, health history, and insurance information.  Each of our system status controllers are nationally certified Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatchers. Each ambulance vehicle is equipped with an In-Touch mobile data terminal which receives necessary data from the CAD database.  Garmin GPS units are integrated with the In-Touch terminal, providing the dispatch center with real time information about each unit’s location and status. This cutting edge technology allows us to efficiently and quickly respond to any emergency that may arise.
